Recently, I had the opportunity to watch Wieliczka - The Salt of the Earth. Initially, I questioned whether it was worth watching yet another typical educational movie and doubted it could offer any surprises. How wrong I was! Within the first minute, I was captivated by the excellent soundtracks that enhanced the stunning visuals of the mine. Jerzy Stuhr, dressed in a guide's uniform, narrated an engaging story filled with references to many significant events in mining history. The combination of these elements left such an impression that after watching the movie, I immediately felt the urge to visit the salt mine myself!
