Recently, I had the opportunity to watch “Wieliczka – The Salt of the Earth.” At first, I wondered whether it would be just another typical educational film and doubted it could offer anything new. How wrong I was! From the very first minute, I was captivated by the powerful soundtrack and the breathtaking images of the mine. Jerzy Stuhr, dressed as a guide, tells a fascinating story rich with references to important moments in mining history. The combination of visuals, narration, and music left such a strong impression that, after watching, I immediately felt the desire to visit the salt mine myself!
