Wieliczka -The Salt of the Earth provides an excellent example of an educational film, which can be used in school education at all stages of education, summarizes and provides concluding mining history in just over 40 minutes in a horizontal manner, but very clearly.

Recently I had the opportunity to watch film Wieliczka - The Salt of the Earth. At first, I wondered if it was worth watching another typical educational movie and wondered if the movie might surprise me. How much I was wrong, already in the first minute of the movie I noticed excellent soundtracks that increase the effects of the beautiful images of the mine. Jerzy Stuhr, who is in the guide uniform, tells an interesting story with references to the many known events in mining history. All this meant that after watching the movie, I immediately wanted to go and visit the salt mine!

"Wieliczka Salt Mine" is a world-class monument, listed on the very first iteration of the World Heritage List of UNESCO. The film shows the hard work of the miners as well as locations in the mine that are inaccessible to tourists. The film expertly combines atmospheric background music with the charming voice of actor Jerzy Stuhr. This wonderful film describes the mine from the beginning of its creation to the present, interesting and innovative teaching material, not only for the young generation but for people of all ages.

Wieliczka - The Salt of the Earth shows the beauty, history, wealth, suffering and traditions of the mine. I think it's a perfect teaching tool presenting the fascinating history of the mine, from the Middle Ages until present day. I wholeheartedly recommend this movie to every school director and teacher. Anyone who is not foreign to the idea of learning, is interested in culture or simply cares about their students will surely enjoy this profound and uniquely extensive tour of the mine. Even those without prior knowledge of the mine will get a lot of enjoyment out of this amazing documentary.

Jerzy Stuhr, this time as a guide, guides us through the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
He teaches us about the lives of miners, their extremely hard and dangerous work. Watching this movie has enabled me to look at the mines in a whole new way, not just as a tourist spot but first and foremost as a national heritage treasure, which everybody should know. The film elicited my admiration for the many art treasures in one place and its excellent soundtrack increased the level of excitement immensely during the viewing experience.

The film presents the stories and values of the salt mine in Wieliczka in an interesting way.
Within 42 minutes, the film shows the miners' hard work, "developing" mining technology from the beginning with simple tools utilizing manpower, which is later combined with horsepower, finally ending with modern technology. The images are enriched by a fantastic soundtrack aptly setting the mood, making the viewer almost an eyewitness to history; whom almost starts feeling like a participant to the historical events that have transpired during the long and rich history of the mine. The film deserves admiration. The film invites you to visit the mine and experience its breathtaking natural wonders as well as its many incredible museum exhibits. In addition, it can be used in didactic activities carried out in schools. It is worth recommending especially to schools or classes that do not have the opportunity to organize educational trips to Wieliczka.

My general impression of the film is very good. Excellent, sublime music that creates great atmosphere. The leading Jerzy Stuhr does not, of course, require comment. Professional in every inch. A highly interesting story told i
